GameDay 40 is a site ostensibly dedicated to all things Iowa and Notre Dame Football.  Our “esteemed” contributors will offer the kind of 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th-hand speculation about insight into the Hawkeyes and Irish that only a group of aging tailgaters could provide.  Simply put, we love college football, and the Internet provides us with a forum for sharing our wealth of pompous bullshit with each other and the world, i.e., you the unfortunate schmuck who stumbled across this website.

In the coming weeks, look for round-table discussions, preseason predictions, and other random musings.   During the season, our contributors will have weekly picks-to-click for both the Hawkeyes and Irish and weekly GameDay 40 Awards for the players of the game.  With that said, we will post when we want, at the pace we want.  We also make no representations as to the accuracy or relevancy of our postings.  On behalf of GameDay 40 – welcome loyal reader(s).
